The Seattle Seahawks will be making a road trip over to Texas this Sunday, November 1 when they take on the Dallas Cowboys at the AT&T Stadium. The Seahawks notched another win last week as they bounced back with a 20-3 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on the road at Levi’s Stadium, 20-3. Seattle is now 3-4 on the season and occupies third place in the NFC West. They’ll be facing a Cowboys squad which has lost four in a row without number one quarterback Tony Romo and wide receiver Dez Bryant. Dallas dropped a 27-20 decision to the New York Giants in week seven and are now in the basement of the NFC East with a 2-4 record.

The Seahawks bounced back from their loss to the Carolina Panthers with a good game in San Francisco last Thursday. It was their first win on the road this campaign, but their fourth consecutive victory over their division rivals. Quarterback Russell Wilson was picked off twice, but still had a pretty good performance. He went 18 for 24 in passing for 235 yards with a touchdown pass and carried the ball seven times for another 20 yards.

Marshawn Lynch was also at his best even though he was suffering from a hamstring problem. Lynch ran for a season-high 122 yards on 27 carries as well as a touchdown. Seattle’s running game resulted in 176 yards while San Francisco was held to just 61 yards on the ground. Seattle can’t afford to take the injury-depleted Cowboys too lightly though since they’re still a strong team, especially on the ground with a seventh-best 127.7 yards per outing.

The Seahawks are tops when it comes to the running game though with a league-best 143.3 yards each contest. Thomas Rawls and Lynch are leading the way this year as the running backs teamed up for 670 yards on the ground along with three touchdowns. Seattle is just 2-3 against the spread and 1-4 straight up against the Cowboys in their previous five encounters.
.
The Cowboys won their first two games of the season and have dropped the last four, mainly because they’re without Romo and Bryant. Reports said Bryant returned to practice on October 28,but his status for this game is up in the air. Quarterback Matt Cassel made his Cowboys’ debut last Sunday, but it was one he may want to forget. Darren McFadden had a fine outing though by carrying the ball 29 times for 152 yards and a touchdown. The Cowboys need to keep the faith and keep working hard if they hope to turn things around.

McFadden, Jason Witten and Terrance Williams could prove to be thorns in the side to Seattle this weekend. Witten and Williams combined for 10 receptions for 143 yards in the air last week. The Cowboys give up 26.3 points per contest, which is ranked 24th in the league. They’ve been doing okay against the run, but not as well against aerial attacks. The Cowboys concede 101.3 yards against on the ground each week, which is ninth-best in the NFL. The Cowboys are 2-8 against the spread and 5-5 straight up in their past 10 home appearances. They should hang tough, but eventually fall to the Seahawks.
